Step 1: Start by cleaning the tire sidewall using Acetone (this is most effective) or a similar degreaser. This will eliminate all brake dust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants. After cleaning, a white rag should appear white or light grey, indicating a clean tire sidewall.

Step 2: Next, apply a thin, even layer of glue to the back of the letters. It’s best to apply glue to just a few letters at a time to begin. Place each decal onto the prepared area of the tire, applying gentle, even pressure for 1-2 minutes. After placing the decal, inspect it and clean up any excess that may ooze out. Keep applying pressure as needed. The optimal installation temperature is around 72°F.

Step 3: Carefully remove the clear transfer to unveil the clean letters. For any areas that have not fully bonded, apply additional light pressure and let the stickers dry for about 2 hours. Remember to avoid oil-based tire shine products, car washes that grab the wheel/tire, and curbs.
