Step-by-Step Installation Guide:

The kit comes with detailed installation instructions. Here’s a brief overview:

Step 1: Begin by cleaning the tire sidewall thoroughly with Acetone, which is the most effective option, or another degreaser. This step is crucial to remove brake dust, dirt, oil, and other contaminants. When cleaning is done properly, the rag should come away clean or display only a light grey shade.

Step 2: Apply a thin, even layer of glue to the backside of the letters, working on just a few letters at a time to start. Position the decal carefully on the clean section of the tire, then apply gentle, consistent pressure for around 1-2 minutes. After placing the decal, check for any adhesive that may have squeezed out and clean it up if needed. You may need to hold the letter in place for a bit longer as necessary. The ideal installation temperature is 72°F.

Step 3: Once the letters are firmly set, remove the clear transfer to unveil the clean lettering underneath. For any areas that may not have adhered completely, apply additional light pressure. Allow the installation to dry for a minimum of 2 hours. It is important to avoid oil-based tire shine products, car washes that clamp the wheel/tire, and curbs during this time.
